Care, organized

Kodu helps organize pet care. Check the records and schedules you enter. It does not replace a veterinarian. Notifications depend on permissions and iOS operation; they must not be the only safeguard for critical care.

Free and Pro

Free includes one active pet profile and local documents limited by available device storage. Pro includes up to five active profiles, one family owner and up to two invited caregivers, and 60 MiB of cloud originals per family. New files are limited to 7 MiB each. A caregiver does not need another subscription for that family. Service quotas apply and a file that exceeds a quota stays local.

Subscription conditions

Pro offers monthly and yearly auto-renewing subscriptions. Eligible new subscribers may get a free trial; Apple’s purchase screen shows the applicable price, currency, duration and trial before confirmation. Unless cancelled at least 24 hours before a trial ends, it converts to the paid subscription. Payment is charged to your Apple Account. Cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends to avoid renewal; renewal may be charged within its final 24 hours. Manage or cancel subscriptions with Apple. Access generally continues to the paid period’s end after cancellation; refunds or revocations can change access. Refund requests are handled through Apple, subject to applicable law.

A separate Kodu sign-in is not needed to buy. Restore purchases with the relevant Apple Account in Kodu’s shop. Restoring a purchase does not restore local records. Deleting the app or account or leaving a family does not cancel an Apple subscription.

When Pro ends

The owner keeps history and one active Free profile. Extra profiles remain preserved and exportable without an automatic deadline. Caregivers lose family access and return to their personal workspace; re-entry needs a new invitation. The cloud-original recovery policy is described in the Privacy Policy. Keep independent exports of important documents.

Responsible use

Invite only people you trust and do not publish invitation codes. Respect other people’s privacy and rights. Do not try to bypass access or storage controls. We may restrict abusive access where needed to protect the service. Features may be unavailable during maintenance or failures.
